To use Ivar, you must first install the Ivar extension on all the machines you want to play sounds on. To do that, you drag it into the Extensions folder and reboot. Then you run the Ivar application. A dialog box pops up listing all the machines on the network.

Select one and click OK. Then you'll see this window:

The window contains a list of all the sounds installed in the System on the machine you selected.
To play a sound, select it in the list and click Play(or double click on the sound). If the sound is very long, and the person you are teasing gets very angry, you can press the "Stop playing" button to (surprise, surprise) stop the sound.
To connect to another machine, click the "Select host" button.
